A Simple Flick Of The Switch Of Your Attention From Inattention To Conscious Attention

You will not see who you are - this \”you\” of you - while you keep on persisting in believing this mind that is busily informing the mindbody that you think you are. You are not this mind informed mindbody that you find yourself traveling around through. No amount of thinking is going to deliver you of the beauty of your self - the heart of existence. You are literally going to have to surrender, let go of and leave alone your ongoing and momentary attempts to try and be who you think you are to come to the clarity of who you already are - there is no getting around this one.

Who you are is this \”motion of seeing\” that is flowing through the eyes of this mindbody that you find yourself flowing through, right now. Who \”you\” are is already here, in this very moment. You can actually and truly be completely free from the bondage of this prison of your own making, if you are so wanting. Letting go of what was never true of \”you\” and consciously being this one that is this \”you\” of you is completely available to you, right here and right now.

If you do not want to be who you are then you need not do anything differently to what you are currently up to and doing in your daily and momentary living. However, who you are is already true of you and this \”you\” of you is the \”motion of aliveness\” that is flowing through the very eyes of this mindbody that you find yourself so intimately involved with.

You are to find this one that is seeing through your eyes - the seer - by consciously aligning your focus of attention to this very \”aliveness\” that is flowing through your eyes in this moment. Then you are to stop at and as this one that is \”you\”. This you can do because it is \”you\”.

Learning to move from this \”you\” of you is what frees you up to this \”you\”. Who you are is already here. You need not \”try\” to be who you are; you simply need to realize that \”you\” already are; you need to \”be\” this amness of you.

It is a simple \”flick of the switch\” of your attention; from you believing yourself to be who you think you are to the realization - energetically - that \”you\” already are; from the inattention of unconsciousness to conscious attention; this on a momentary basis.

Because who you are already is, you can actually \”stop and drop\” what you are not and \”see and be\” who you already are. Will who you think you are help you along with being who you are? No. Not at all. Au contraire. Who you think you are works flat out in distracting you from the \”seeing and being\” of who you already are. This running commentary of your mind is an adept at the art of distraction - it is what it does. It will have you looking at anything, anything at all, rather than have you \”seeing and being\” this \”you\” of you.

Of course, an ever growing of uncaused happiness is not the result of living this attempt to try and be something that is not you, either. Pain and suffering, falsehood upon falsehood, fear and desire, guilt and doubt is what is served up as the daily menu. All the while, \”you\” are already right here and flowing through the eyes of this mindbody that you find yourself flowing through, closer to you than the nose on your face. The heart of existence, the beauty of the divine one, is this \”you\” of you.

\r 2. Sleeping down meditation. Same with above but you should be go sleeping down. Keep like this for 15-30 minutes.
\r 3. Sun Meditation. Conduct it like number 1 but in the below of sun. Do this in 12-16 oclock in the day and not is night. Keep feel on your body and palm hands.
\r 4. Water Meditation. Sit down in the bottom of pool or bath up. Keep in water your body until neck. Arrange your breath and close your eyes. Feel your body and feel the water too.

Four kinds of meditation above is example of dragon meditation. Five Elements - Essence of Universe

The existence or Cosmos is made up of the five elements that are - Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether. All these elements are different forms of the same Existential Energy.

Learn to Control Your Brainwaves Through Meditation

Control your brainwaves and you control your state of mind. By raising or slowing our brainwaves, we can altar how we think, feel and act. Meditation is the process of slowing our waking beta brainwaves to the slower states of alpha and theta. By learning to control these states, we can improve our health and well-being.

Brainwaves are the electrical movements in the brain. The frequency of these brainwaves can be measured using an electroencephalograph (EEG). Electrodes placed on the scalp measure the frequency of these brainwaves. From highest to lowest frequency, these brainwaves are called beta, alpha, theta and delta.

Beta is the waking, thinking state. During beta, brainwaves range from 14 to 40 cycles per second. In beta, an individual thinks and listens, can solve analytical problems, make decisions, and intake and process information. This is our normal state of mind when working, going to school and shopping. During beta our minds are the most alert.

Alpha is a slower state more indicative of relaxing and reflecting. During alpha, brainwaves range from 9 to 14 cycles per second. In the alpha state, an individual is fully aware of his/her surroundings but in a much more relaxed state of mind than beta. Meditation is often practiced in the alpha state.

Theta is an even slower state perfect for daydreaming and intuitive thinking. During theta, brainwaves range from 5 to 8 cycles per second. It is the state between wakefulness and sleep. In this state of mind, memories, thoughts and facts that eluded a person in a wakeful state can be recalled. It is often in this state that answers to problems seem to appear. Deep meditation and prayer are practiced in the theta state.

Delta is the slowest of the four states where sleep occurs. During delta, brainwaves range from 1.5 to 4 cycles per second. At the slowest delta level, sleep is deep and dreamless.

During our waking and sleeping hours, the brain moves through all four of these stages. At any given level, there is a range in brainwaves that effect how deeply we have entered that state. By knowing how these states function, we can knowingly enter a particular state and control how our thoughts are processed.

Jose Silva wrote in his book The Silva Mind Control Method, When you are wide awake, doing and achieving in the workaday world, you are in Beta or outer consciousness. When you are daydreaming, or just going to sleep but not quite there yet, or just awakening but not yet awake, you are in Alpha. When you are asleep you are in Alpha, Theta, or Delta, not just Delta alone, as many believe. With Mind Control training you can enter the Alpha level at will and still remain fully alert.

During my morning ramblings sometimes Im aware of my surroundings and sometimes - Im caught up in the monkey-like chattering of the mind.

This morning I was aware of;

the cedar and pine perfume that infuses the atmosphere here on the Island of British Columbia.

the depth of field that is available when we look into the distance and admire the majesty of the mountain peaks.

the feeling of being part of the whole rather than a struggling, individual entity.

And so on my return home, I went to my library, picked a book from my meagre travelling library, opened it at random and began my readings - my musings for the day.

The Timeless Now Of Eternity

No amount of philosophical depth or profundity or looking for deep and wonderful meanings to life is going to change your moment by moment obstruction of your heart.

You believing that you are getting more \”onto it;\” that you are \”just about there;\” that you have arrived at the big \”nothing\” or the great void; is not relieving you from being lost in your attempt in trying to be who you think you are from one moment to the next. Who you already are already is, right now. Not some \”now\” that will come along later. But now. This now, right now. The timeless now of eternity.

Unless you align and refocus your conscious attention to the finding of who you already are - right now - you will continue on misidentifying the \”you\” of you and carry on perpetuating and believing yourself to be who you think you are. The mind must be transcended from the prison of its current situation to where this mind is fluid and fluent in and as the greater mind that is informed by greater clarity of the divine one.

This transcendence comes about by you realizing and being the \”you\” that you already and truly are. Otherwise you will continue to be distracted by this restless, judging and chattering mind and be lost in its meanderings; keeping the mind from being transcended into its greater fluidity; never coming to realize the immediacy of the being of the \”you\” of you, in this very \”now,\” right now.

This restless mind - that informs this mindbody that you keep on trying to be and keep on believing yourself to be - will not bring you to the peace and stillness of the beingness of \”you\” - who you are; the heart incarnate. Unless you transcend this mind by realizing this \”you\” that already is and flowing through this mindbody that you find yourself so intimately involved with, you are going to remain imprisoned by your own creation - the attempt to be who you think you are which has you not seeing and being this \”you\” that already is.

This you can \”do\” - the \”doing\” being an act of no longer doing what you are currently trying to do - because this \”you\” of you already is. Who you are is this \”motion of seeing\” that is flowing through your eyes right now; it is the seer, the one that is looking and peering through.

Stop at and as this \”motion of aliveness\” that is flowing through your mindbody and you will come to being deeply at rest as \”you,\” immediately freeing up from the illusion of your belief in and your trying to be who you think you are. Immediately and completely.

Every moment that you forget that you are simply this one that is the seer, the heart of \”that\” which is peering out through the eyes of this mindbody that you cannot escape from, you immediately revert back to who you think you are and its distractions and restlessness. Yes, it is as simple as this. It always was. It always will be.

Unless you have a strong desire to come home to the heart you are not going to surrender, let go of and leave alone your attempt to try and be who you think you are. It is as simple as this, as well. This \”you\” of you is beyond remembering and forgetting, beyond being and \”not being.\”

However, you are going to have to find this \”you\” first; then you are going to have to stop at and as this one, your heart. Because you are who you are \”you\” can be who you are. While you believe yourself to be who you think you are you have not got a \”hope in hell\” of aligning yourself to your self - the heart of existence itself.

How To Meditate Without Even Trying

I remember when I started trying to meditate. I would sit down, close my eyes, and try to be really calm (my definition of meditation at the time). That was hard: my head would burst with ideas, thoughts, solutions, problems I would become agitated, and stopped generally after ten long minutes, if not less. Its during my short meditations that I felt less meditative.

I knew there was something for me to explore that was beyond the physical world. I knew I would unleash my potential, by going within. And sitting meditation, as I knew it, was the #1 technique that would lead me there. Yet, I just couldnt do it I was inadequate.

No, I wasnt - and neither are you, if you are experiencing a similar situation. Its your definition of meditation that may be inadequate.

The idea behind meditation is not to sit on a chair, and close our eyes. Or to sit in lotus, and watch the leaves change colors. You can do all this if you feel a call to do so, but whatever technique you choose is just as relevant as the type of fork you eat your meals with. Forks, meditations, cars, are just tools that help us accomplish a specific task

Meditation, we could say, is an altered state of consciousness. We do not see things as we normally do; we feel connected to something bigger than our everyday selves; we feel wider than usual. In a few words, we are so immersed in ourselves that we can transcend our own limitations. Now, the question is: what do you need to feel that way (if so you wish)? For some people, its gardening; for others, its laying down comfortably and listening to music (it doesnt even need to be New Age). I personally know someone who meditates by playing card games on her computer. After a few minutes of calculating her moves and keeping score, she looses touch with the cards, and she takes off.

Why dont we value such activities as much as those that involve candles, cushions, and incense? They may be simple, or silly, but their impact often is important, profound. Even more, they are easy and effortless. No need to be disciplined we are naturally attracted to them.

In some ways, maybe thats why we dont always see their true magnitude. They are too accessible and natural. Mustnt we pay a high price or work hard to get anything of value? If its easy, its not worth much or so we were told.

For some people, meditating the conventional way (sitting down and all) does not contribute to expanding their horizon. It may look like they are meditating when they are doing it, but in reality they are thinking about their problems, analyzing this and thatthey are relaxing, yes, but meditating, no. They would probably have the deep experience they are looking for much more easily by being active, by doing things just like those mentioned before (repetitive tasks, especially, are very effective in that regard). Of course, before washing the dishes, or doing some gardening, we dont really think Im going to meditate. But when we become aware of the higher potential these activities hold for us, we can utilize them consciously with that clear intention in mind.

Still, the point of this article is that we do not even need a clear intention to meditate. In fact, when we want something too much, we often become our first obstacle in the process especially when it comes to meditation. You cannot work hard to attain something that is all about lightness, openness, and receptivity. You cannot push yourself to open up. You can only create favorable circumstances and those can be anything, as we have seen, since it is just a matter of which tool works best for you.

So if your mind is constantly active, or extremely creative, and your energy is so high you cannot sit down and close your eyes, do not categorize yourself as unspiritual or unmeditative. You may not be able to sit for hours in uncomfortable positions like Tibetan monks do, but you too can accomplish things that they would not even dream of doing. Sure, you would benefit greatly from slowing down your thoughts and relaxing; but developing strategies that suit you as you are now would probably serve you even better. What could be the best way to meditate for you?
